If you are curious about the jars slideshow...

These jars are from a painting class I am in right now. Our instructor gave the restriction of jars so we would spend more time painting and less time worrying about what we would paint. But that wasn't all (my art teacher thinks big!). Later this year, the whole class will be putting on a charity art show of our jars. Displayed on shelves just like canned food in canning mason jars, these paintings will be sold to anyone who comes and picks one out, and all money will be given to the Food Bank (Get it? Canned food jars donated to the Food Bank? I thought it was a fun idea). I do not have the date for the show yet, but make sure you stay updated for the date of the show! We hope to help out the Food Bank as much as we can, and any support would be greatly appreciated.

Yesterday I did something that was pretty crazy (okay it wasn't THAT crazy...just a little scary!). I was getting so sick of my plain, straight, boring, flat hair that I decided to just cut it myself. Crazy, right? It was kind of liberating though! Here is a picture.

Okay so this isn't really my hair, this just was a funny picture so I added it...

I just cut bangs and added a few more layers in the front, but it felt good to get some texture in that hair. Crazy things happen when you are at home too much!! maybe next time my hair really end up that that last pic!

  1. Anna, I adore the bangs! In addition to oil, charcoal and pencil, your artistry skills evidently delve into the hair medium as well--impressive. I love the jars btw too! Who knew a jar could be so beautiful.
