Too Much To Catch Up On!

Since last post there have so many things that have happened. First off, we had our anniversary. Sort of a big deal, right? This will probably need its own post. I can't believe it has already been a year. A year ago we were living in this same apartment trying to get ready for finals just like we are now. We celebrated with a filling feast at Tucanos, the yummiest all you can eat Brazilian rotisserie grill. It was funny, Dave would "take a break" but then when he saw a meat sever coming he would quickly give the signal to bring him more meat. You will see a picture illustrating this with our red light green light stick. That pineapple is so delicious. Then the amazing Easter/Conference combo with the annual pull up contest (I got three with the cheater rope :) ) up at the cabin near Kamas, two art shows (picture of one of my pieces below), Dave getting new tires, taking a weekend trip to Zions with the art education department, Eric and Lindsay coming to town from Portland (so fun to see all those little cousins together!), and an Easter Egg hunt. Needless to say the last three weeks have been very eventful and wonderful. Here are some of the pictures that I could find of the various events.
Dave and I went on a hike in Zions together. It was nice to just have the opportunity to be away from school and in nature. We talked about our first year together, our future hopes, our dreams, hard times and good times. Taking walks is very healing and good for Dave and me.

Art Show titled, "Inheritance." We chose an ancestor that has contributed to our life and then did an art piece about them.

Dave is so supportive with all of my art craziness

We squeezed in some time to make a few eggs. Dave's is the super cool yellow, blue, and rust colored egg.

Conference at the cabin. "Want my shoe?"

Luke. Love his smile.

a beautiful morning at the cabin

Red means I'm too full to eat anything else! (except if it looks really good as it passes by...)

Thanks for the wonderful year Dave! I hope everyone's easter/conference was wonderful and uplifting!

  4. We've had so much fun with you recently. Thanks for the laughs, the hugs, and the patience. I know what it's like to hear my name over a million times in one minute, but for some reason, Dave and Annie, Luke loves you enough to do it to you too! Thanks for a fun Easter weekend and for the fab art to look at when I need a break! Anna, check out the R-town website for a comment I made about you and your work. Love you tons!
