All 21 1/2 of the Richards family were together at Hebgen Lake, Montana. We're getting so big! I can hardly believe it. But each new member just brings new joys and diverse experiences that helps us to become better.

The kids loved the fishing poles this year. Sweet shades Abby!

Will always dazzles with his back rolls on the wakeboard. Maybe someday he'll do one in a leisure suit like he did in High School...

Grandpa Richards and Wendy. Grandpa Richards is my family's last grandparent, and I am so grateful for the chance we had to drive him up to Montana. I love hearing about what is important to him and trying to learn about life from his point of view. He is such a romantic too! Every time he talk to someone, he says
we instead of
I. I love this because it shows that in his eyes he will always be with his Annette even though she isn't with him now.

While on our trips to Hebgen, we always visit West Yellowstone. It is a super fun little town. We're in the T-Shirt shop, a favorite stop in town. You can create your own designs on shirts. But in case you were wondering, yes, we really did ask this cowboy to take a picture with us! I love how bold and fearless my mom is! He wasn't embarrassed or anything, and now we have an awesome picture with a cowboy. Maybe one day mom I'll be as brave as you ;) .

Abby and Ella, best cousin friends! Ella was so funny preparing for this picture. She wouldn't let me take the picture until she took off her life jacket and fixed her hair clip.

Me with my brother and sister-in-law Will and Wendy. They live in North Carolina, but by some miracle they were able to work close enough to live in Salt Lake this summer. It was such a wonderful summer spending time with their family. Will has always been my brother "knight in shining armor" (he called himself that when he was younger!) and Wendy has always been a good friend and mentor to me. She is so talented and thoughtful, and she is such a wonderful mom. Thanks for the great times this summer Will and Wendy! You will be very missed.

Annual Hebgenman
try-athalon. They did the swim with one arm, and they had to jump over things on their run. THe run was on the sand too to make things harder! Crazy race you guys, way to go on finishing.

Dave has grown to love our family's favorite pastime: boating. He is a natural water-skier and I am so glad he can enjoy this with our family. We always joke that if someone is at the dating stage of life, they have to date someone who will love waterskiing and Hebgen. well Dave has grown to love both and it makes me so happy! And Spencer, thanks for teaching Dave your family's fun waterskiing trick! (On a slalom ski, you raise your back foot and hold the rope with it. Pretty crazy.)

Kim is the funnest aunt to all of the nieces and nephews. I can't believe that there are eight grandkids. It is so fun to see all of their personalities emerge as they grow up.
Abby and Sarah got one last wrestle in before we pulled out of the cabin driveway. Love all of you! Thanks for the wonderful week in Heaven!
hooray! it looks like you guys had a ton of fun! Hebgen is truly wonderful, isn't it? And thanks for the shout-out Anna, I'm glad you think of me when Dave gets crazy.
