The Stampers

These paintings were done to celebrate Alisha and Todd's anniversary. I love this couple and their dynamicism. They are strong, yet soft and sympathetic. They are welcoming yet fiercely dedicated to their beliefs. They are empowering to be with, and yet, can make you feel peaceful and at ease.

Alisha and I did an art trade. She offered photoshop/lighting/focusing instruction, which I desperately needed in order to help make my reference photos more useful. It is so important for me to have crisp, well-lit photos, and to be able to manipulate them for my portrait painting.

Alisha is an amazing instructor, whether it be personal instruction, or a classroom setting. It is the perfect ratio of information, hands-on learning, comic relief, and focus. She helps her students feel at ease, while pushing them just enough for them to learn. One-on-one she makes a visible conscious effort to only teach you exactly what you will need to know, thus making your time and hers incredibly productive.  I would recommend her courses to anyone wanting to learn about photoshop and studio photography. Thanks Alisha for your help!

Anyway, back to the paintings. Here's to a couple that is making a difference! Thanks for this opportunity Alisha, I loved working on this project!
