We had so much fun in Hawaii!!!!! What a wonderful break from moving and taking finals. The weather was beautiful, and we did some really fun stuff. Oh yeah, and if you didn't notice from the picture, Dave decided to grow a mustache during the week we were there. Oh Davey. What a lucky new husband you are.
Dave got to fulfill his childhood dream!!! Can you guess what that might be? Well I'll tell you. Ever since he was little he was little, he has loved SEA TURTLES. So when he found out we might see one snorkeling, that became his mission. He saw 4! I'm pretty sure he broke some kind of law by touching two of them since they are endangered, but it was worth it. Check! Childhood dream fulfilled.
The Polynesian cultural center was super great too. They did some crazy flaming knife throwing! I couldn't believe it! One guy would throw the flaming sword thing about 25-30 feet to another guy who would catch it! Amazing.
And let us not forget the "Spam Jam!" Believe it or not, just outside our hotel they had a party entirely dedicated to SPAM! All of the restaurants set up little tents on the street and included spam in all of their recipes. I guess everyone in Hawaii is addicted to SPAM! There wasn't any thinly sliced and fried like Grandpa Richards used to make. Oh well. Maybe we'll go back for it next year. 
We are so jealous. You look so beautiful and handsome. We are glad you finally got your honeymoon. Love the mustache.
